Dosya Açıklaması : Although the ants seem similar they can be divided in to varies groups of species in terms of their way of living and physical characteristic .In fact there are approximately 8800 different species of ant, and every species has a specific fascinating characteristic. Through out the history ants has always aroused peoples interest. The reason for that are their collective living and their division of labour. Ants species dont differentiate from each other, mostly they differentiate in terms of behavior. The ancestors of todays ants are unknown .It is supposed that the first ants appeared in tropical regions. Today most of the ants species still in tropical region .the burning acid that is secreted by some ants when they bite is called formic acid. Ants has a body consisting of three parts .it has two antenna on its head. The mouth consist of a tongue and a biter caw .the eyes are compound eyes .the compounds are large and each of them consist of many small eyes .the chest which is the middle part of the body consist of three parts each parts has a pair of legs. Thus ant has also 6 legs like all other insects .the last part of the body is abdomen .in winged species there are two pairs of wings on abdomen part which are held with strong muscles almost all ants species live in communities. In communities the number of ants differ from a few to hundred thousands .a typical community consist of a queen and her offspring .the nest is full of larvas, growing ants, female workers and male ants. Female workers are infertile. They cant lay eggs. There are female workers, which lay eggs. They will make new nests one day by laying eggs. There are also soldier ants in nest. Another important type is doorkeeper ant. That type of ant lets only the ants in by closing the exit hole with its head. Queen ant is very large .she doesnt do anything .......
